We live in a neighborhood that doesn't have through traffic. The kids rule the street. They are always skating, boarding, biking, scootering, drag racing, doing neutral drops, etc.
The roads were good. Straight macadam with some cracks covered/filled with tar.
Then out of the blue, we all get notifications that the roads are being sealed protecting the roads for YEARS to come and also adding TRACTION.
WTF?!!
ADDING TRACTION?!!
Our kids can't move more than 2 feet without their boards/skates/scooters coming to a dead stop. Not to mention the road rash and oily staining.
Why did we just get shit on?
Maybe this neighborhood has a pox...
Gotta take this one to City Hall, Lefty. Messed up community priorities.
